"USA Park Attendance Results"
The Top USA parks showing history to 2006.
Every year, the attendance results are released which can be found here.
http://www.aecom.com/content/theme-index/
Most
coaster fans look at their favorite parks, then move on.
But it's interesting to
track each park over time to see the change in attendance results based on the
ride added. The attendance results come out in June for
the previous year. That's why we're looking at last year.
Click on any link and the RCDB page will appear, then back to return here.

Since AECOM won't go past the 20th spot for North America, we will get the data
for the remaining spots from the ParkDB web site, and plug the number into the
2018 position. These numbers are outdated for the parks below,
basically the last known attendance number from AB/ERA, but it's the best
estimates at this time. If you have an updated
attendance number for any of the parks below, please e-mail me.
The attendance number for Dollywood and SDC is correct as of 2018.

In a 2017 article, Ed Hart mentioned 600k visitors were local, while 250k
visitors were from out of state, boosting the tourism and hospitality industry. RMC conversion of Twisted Twins for 2016, In June of 2016 I went
there and rode it.
This is the type of coaster that makes my bucket list.
Cedar Fair and Six Flags, you are not allowed to buy this park when the
attendance reaches 1.3 million again, because either company will drive it into
the ground. Any park below 1.5 million in attendance, is
basically a step child park and gets nothing from CF and SF. If you look at the fate of Geauga Lake in this
article, you'll see the decisions made by a few CEOs are not always correct.
http://www.themeparktourist.com/features/20140824/28153/lost-geauga-lake-how-worlds-largest-six-flags-disappeared
Ed Hart sold out to Hersched in 2021. Too bad because KK
was rumored to get a RMC Raptor. Here's an article

If anyone has the missing attendance figures,
please e-mail me.

If you visit these parks, you'll go on the best steel coasters on the planet. You
can complete "The List" for Steel or Wood USA by following the list
below.

Parks I have not visited. Number after each park is how many
Steel Coasters are in my Bucket List.
Speaking about In-Bev and the Busch Parks up above, do not
drink In-Bev products (Budweiser, SAB Miller, Shock Top, Goose IPA). Drink your local craft brews. This is another example where the CEOs made a
horrible decision to steal a company by using a hostile take over.
Sorry In-Bev, you are no longer American and that matters.
One CEO made a decision to take a family run company from the USA in a hostile
take over and American's don't forget. In-Bev is trying to have a
monopoly by buying up the competetion. But look at what they
did to the Busch parks. No more free beer samples, spun off the
parks to Blackstone. Please Boycott any In-Bev beer brands and
buy your local IPAs. I've compiled a good list,
click each link to see the Beer Advocate web page, which is like the RCDB.
If you drink the beers below (in no particular order), you will be drinking some
of the best beers on the planet.

The latest trick by In-Bev is to buy these companies
without anyone knowing. The web site of each company has no mention
of In-Bev. The owners claim it's to reach more people.
But the word eventually gets out and there are news reports of the owners
selling out to the dark side. Too bad.
To each one of these companies that sold out, you are no longer craft beer.
You are part of a foreign company that no longer cares about the "craft" but only
about "profits." In fact, if you read reports about Goose IPA,
you'll find it is no longer brewed locally, but in a national facility, where
they have changed the formula (use less ingredients).
You sold out, you lost, end of story.
Many of the
In-Bev brands I've just
listed are still sold in the "craft" section of the beer isle. I
think they should be moved to the "Budweiser" section where no one buys that
crap and they get less shelf space. It's no longer a "craft"
beer but a foreign brand that is NOT AMERICAN.
The In-Bev brands are crap and I won't buy them. They usually
have 5% or less ABV, and their scores on Beer Advocate are poor. It's
funny to read the reviews on the BA site.
Pay the extra money and support your local American breweries.
End of Report. This page is getting 50+ hits a month,
please pass this link around. Thanks for reading.
